About ConvertHub

ConvertHub is a small, independent site with one job: make unit conversion and everyday calculations fast and checkable.

What we publish

We keep a focused set of the conversions people actually look for — the ones you meet in a kitchen, on a road sign, in a property listing, on a tyre gauge or in a data sheet — instead of publishing every possible unit pair. Each page shows the factor, two worked examples, a reverse table and a chart, so you can verify the result instead of trusting a single output.

Where the numbers come from

Unit factors follow the definitions published by the BIPM and the NIST SP 811 guide. When a unit depends on context — the speed of sound for Mach, the length of a month, the difference between US and imperial gallons — the page says so instead of hiding it behind a single number.

Calculators

The mortgage and loan calculators use the standard amortisation formula. The compound interest page uses monthly compounding. BMI uses the WHO adult bands and calories use the Mifflin-St Jeor equation. Every calculator lists its assumptions and the parts of the estimate it does not cover.

Corrections

If a value looks wrong, tell us which page and which result you expected. We fix confirmed errors and note the revision date on the page. The contact form reaches us directly.
